This weeks home tour comes to us from Meghan of When I Grow Up… Her blog is great and I fell in love with her beautiful older home on Paul Street.
I asked Meghan to describe her design style and here is what she said:
“I suppose my style is to take elements from various periods and places and attempt to weave them into something thoughtful and beautiful.
I like to breathe life into crusty old things; I live for great, inexpensive flea market finds; I tend to start with lots of neutrals then accent with pops of color and a modern punch here or there. I cherish a piece with a story – either ours or some distant stranger’s. I guess I would say that my style is eclectic, and if something catches my eye, is functional, and makes me happy, I go with it. Mostly, I like to be surrounded by things that I adore and have meaning to me.”
I love that.
Take a look at her previous home on Paul Street.
The Entry Way
This antique ice chests sits in the entry.
