From the second I saw Robyn’s amazing home on Rate My Space I couldn’t wait to share it with you!
She describes her style as eclectic with a vintage vibe. In her own words she says:
“I love chippy crusty pieces with clean lines mixed with a few ornamental embellished bits to add some flair. I love finding old pieces that have a bit of history even if I don’t know what that history is. I love COLOR but I really like it mixed with large doses of white to make it POP or to have a soothing effect, depending on the color. Our family room and kitchen/breakfast area flow into each other and are only separated by a step down into the family room and a large column we put up to differentiate the space. It was important to have the color schemes blend but I wanted it to definitely feel like two different areas. We are always fiddling with stuff around our home and luckily my husband is now VERY handy. We both love molding and have slowly but surely added it to most of our molding-less home. Even our windows didn’t have molding!”
