This week I was able to go to a few homes in this years Salt Lake Parade of Homes. There were a few that were a disappointment but there were a couple that blew me away!
Here are some of my favorite homes.
I thought the Tango Trellis fabric looked really good in this space.
This sofa was really interesting to me. I was tailored nicely and reminded me of my grandpa. In a good way.
This headboard is amazing! The bedding and cornice on the wall look so great with it.
I thought this railing was really cool.
I liked this kitchen as an example of what works above cabinets. A few modern pieces really work in this kitchen.
I loved this rhino!
These chairs are so beautiful!
This nursery is so fun. I loved the vintage touches that were thrown in as well.
Salt and pepper as checker pieces. So brilliant.
I love walking in to a home that inspires me. I’m hoping to catch a few more homes this week and I’ll let you know if I see anything else great.
These three homes were done by different designers. These include Pace Interiors, Penny Dille,
and CandleLight Homes
Thanks for sharing! There is some great stuff there.
I love this fabric/pillow, the one in the middle. Do you have any idea what the source is?

The salt and pepper shakers are really neat…love all the pillows too!
Rondell
Hmmm… I"m not sure. I'll try and get in touch with the designer and find out.
You caught all the good details! Love many of the chairs featured here… especially the ones with the wood, rope-like arms!
Enjoyed this tour! This looks alot more modern than the last home tour I went to a couple of years ago. Thanks for sharing.
It's nice to see a departure from the typical "utah style" that seems to abound and see some risk taking. I love all the details you caught, especially that nursury.
I officially want that bird headboard! And, do you know what that "cloud" above the bed was made out of?? Very cool!
I am a sucker for great occasional chairs. I am loving the one with the Greek key fabric. It would look perfect in my house!
Oh my…what a nice change from what I expect to see at the Parade of Homes. Great details! Thanks for sharing Kirsten!
There is SO MUCH that I love!! Thank you so much for sharing those!
Loved the tour! I saw a lot of things I liked in your phots!
I really like the "grandpa" sofa. I need to find one like it!
Oh I love home tours. Wish I were there to see the house first hand. So glad you shared some pictures. I actually really enjoyed that handsome sofa that reminded you of your Grandpa.
Wow, great tour!! That "pouf" above the bed is AMAZING, what is it?!
It's a whole bunch of tissue paper pom poms! So cool.
Love that leather trimmed couch, its so unique!
And the bedroom with the bird fabric headboard is gorgeous, I'll have to hunt down that fabric.
The designers did a really great job with standard builder homes – usually those home tours are so tacky! Lovely!
Wow. Some really neat stuff! I wish St. Louis had something like this..maybe they do, I need to check into it! : )
We actually skipped the home show this year for fear of redundancy. Now I might have to re-think. Thanks for the awesome pictures!
Do you have any idea where the mirrors in the dining room are from?
I also love the white poof above the bed…and the white rose petal knobs. What a feminine bedroom without being too girly.
love all the pictures you took.
i especially love the "grandpa sofa", the black, menswear-looking striped chairs, and that orange and white striped piece in the kids room.
i think you spotted all the good stuff…now i don't have to go on the tour!
I am loving the rose drawer knobs!!! I repainted my dresser black and put basic knobs on them but now I want those! Thank you for sharing!
Nice photos! If anyone's interested in the "tango" fabric in other colors, I have some for sale in blue/grey, cream/black, cream/coffee and cream/honey on my blog. I'll have to do one of these tours! Loved the white leather chair!!! YUMMY!
XO,
Candace

Thanks!
The Candlelight Home was also done by Pace Interiors.
What is this "poof" thing? It looks like popcorn ceiling on steroids. I really do like the other photos. Especially the salt and pepper shakers. Thank you for posting.
So much good in this post.
Those are some seriously awesome pictures. I missed my opportunity to go to the Parade of Homes this year. I just love looking at the thought that went into the interior design of these homes. It really gets me pumped for my house design and decorating ideas. Thanks a lot! Another great place I've found to get ideas is Utah Style and Design's website. You could seriously work for them! http://utahstyelanddesign.com
Pretty sure that's a bull…
