After I hung the roman shade and curtains in my office I knew the combination would look great in Jett’s room. So may I present Jett’s new curtains!!
I am obsessed with them. May I take you back to what he had on his window before.
I had made this pelmet shade that was okay. But it wasn’t my favorite and it fell down a lot.
I feel like the new curtains are so much more dramatic and add so so so much to the room.
The fabric is Dotscape Major by Dwell. I bought mine from Fabric.com. I had Erin from Plush Studio sew them up for me with a good lining to keep Jett’s room a little darker. She did a fantastic job! The roman shade is from Downeast Home and is originally from Pottery Barn.
And may I also introduce you to the new tiger pillow!
This great pillow is a nod to the adventure feel I wanted Jett’s room to have. It’s designed by Thomas Paul and I bought it at CSN. They carry a great selection of Thomas Paul pillows.
Jett’s room was the first room I ever designed and finished in our home. To see more about the sources in his room check out this post.
It looks great Kristen. Love the colour combo of the red, black and white.
Referring to the "crappy" pelmet you made, I think it was awesome.

P.S. Great job yesterday!!
The new curtains look great!!! And that pillow is so sweet! He's got one cool room.
That looks AWESOME! I love the shade and the pillow two!
You're right – they're so much more dramatic! I think they're a perfect choice for this space, and the pillow is fun too.
Love them! It's impressive what just changing the curtains can do, the room looks great!
Love the new look! It completely changes the feel of the room.
I'm loving those curtains. My son's room is that same color and the bed is black. You have me thinking.

Hi Kirsten…
love the curtain panels..they give the room a little vertical emphasis and draw the eye upwards a little more..and the color is more dramatic..looks great..
just "discovered" your blog and love it…
have a great tuesday..

What a great room!! Those curtains are great!
Working on our son's room was so much fun!!
looks great. I have the crib sheet in the same fabric
sooooo cute! i LOVE them, and that red on the tiger pillow looks great with the red shade. bravo! 🙂
Thanks everyone! The dots are actually brown not black although I do believe Dwell makes the fabric in black as well.
Very dramatic, but all boy!
I love the color combo of red and brown. What a difference it makes. It looks great!
So cute! I always love this combo!
🙂 You're right, they really do look better! ONE day I will hang curtains like that (ie, after getting a good job after school, money, and maybe a really house – I wouldn't mind it in an apartment, but I think my husband might think I'm getting a little too crazy changing things up too much each time we move)
LOVE the window treatment, Kristen. The roman shade/curtain combo is so clean and crisp, yet dramatic. Love it.
They look great! The tiger pillow ties everything together perfectly. I used the Dotscape in a nursery design mockup just last week. Can't beat the price for the impact!
They look great – really bold and the tiger cushion is gorgeous! I loved the other blind too!

Kirsten, you always pull through with fantastic drapes. I love them. I chose big dots for my son's new room {not up yet} and was nervous. Now I am super excited.
They look amazing!! Great job!
I love the new look! And that pillow just pops!!!
This looks amazing! Love the patterned curtains with the pop of color on the shade. A small change makes a big impact for sure 🙂
I love love love the curtains!!! So many nurseries, like in our home, are so babyish!!! I love the pattern and the modern look it brings into the room!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR BLOG!!!
xoxo
I was kind of sad when you told me you were taking down the pelmet. It was cute… but this combo is WOW! Love the dwell fabric.
I have the brown dot Dwell crib set – It is well used and faded, but would love to pass along to someone interested in the design but not able to buy new – I'll send to someone for the shipping costs – cribsheet brown dots (same pattern as your curtain) Crib skirt (in great condition) is striped and crib comforter is dots on one side and stripes on the other. Let me know if anyone is interested….needs to go 🙂

Oh my goodness I love them!!! SO cute. And really…they add so much to the space!
Thank you SO MUCH for posting these images! I was literally just narrowing down fabric options for some curtains and had landed on this same fabric in charcoal but wasn't sure how it would look in mass on some panels. Well you answered that question! They look awesome, totally inspired to place my order and get sewing!

GORGEOUS! I absolutely love this decor!!!
