This is a recent design board I created for an e-design client. We wanted to create a plan that was slightly traditional in feeling but also very colorful and current.
I chose this wallpaper from Graham and Brown.
This buffet gives just the right amount of glam to the room.
And just for fun I added a clam shell to the buffet.
I can’t tell you all the sources for the room but those were a few of my favorites.
I am also helping her with her foyer area. Here it is currently.
Here is the design board I created for this area.
(yes I shamelessly put pictures of my own family on my clients boards sometimes!)
We kept the same entry table and her same lamp. I just decided we could paint it teal. The shape was good.
I wanted to lighten up the entry way with a lighter rug. I loved this one from Dash and Albert.
However my client came across a great knock-off version of it on overstock.
It’s a great design and a great price!
I always come across the best accessories like this tray and that yellow frame at Furbish.
One day I hope to share some pictures of the progress she’s made on these rooms with you!
So pretty! That wallpaper is beautiful. We are looking for wallpaper for my sisters apartment and haven't going what we are looking for. The blue is beautiful.

Gorgeous designs! I love the wallpaper and buffet you chose. And that's so sweet that you put your family photos in the design board! How cute! 🙂
Haha… I was just considering a turquoise color in our dining room but wondered if that was bad for digestion or something (haha… color theory points to 'red'?) I feel validated now. And how funny that you put your family photos in the design board! I love it! 🙂

I've always liked the style of the rooms you come up with for clients, but this is by far my favorite! I think you really hit the nail on the head with the traditional style but modern colors. I love it!! And that tray is awesome :]
