My mom’s budget guest bedroom makeover continues!
I have seen pages from this book used before as art and I thought some pretty botanicals would be the perfect thing to hang over the bed.
This botanicals book is truly stunning. It was hard to pick which pictures to use because they were all so pretty!
I finally decided on these three for over the bed.
I am going to use these somewhere else in the room.
The cute bee happy print was free!
You can download it here.
The last piece of art going in the room is this bird print. It’s actually wrapping paper. You can’t beat the price. $4.50!
It’s all coming together…
I can't wait to see this room. The suspense is killing me! Love these ideas!
Great ideas. I'm trying to help my sister come up with some inspiration for a gallery wall and I'm going to send her this link. I always look forward to your posts. Thanks.
I love the ideas. I will be framing some pictures from books too but I feel bad about cutting them up. And the framed wrapping paper wasn't something I had thought of, so thank you! I'll also post results on my blog- so exciting.
I love that book…I did the same thing in my MIL's dining room. I did 12 Ikea ribba frames, painted them gold, and popped in some botanicals. I used the ones from the Temple of Flora section. Its much cheaper than actually buying the Temple of Flora book.
can't wait to see the room!
So fun! I love botanical prints!
Hi Kirsten,
Love this idea….could you please let me know the size of the pages, just so I can get an idea whether I want to buy the book or not.
Cheers,
Carolyn

The pages are 8 x 10
What a beautiful and inspirational savvy idea!
What great pictures! Love the prices, thanks for the inspiration:)
Those botanicals are great! I have two free 8 by 10 modern floral spring printables right now, too. I'd love for you to check them out!

Such a classic idea — I can't wait to see the finished room!
LOVE your use of the botanical prints! I'm always on the hunt at used book stores for classic books like that. Also, imagine my surprise to see my "bee happy" printable in this post today! It looks great… thanks for the link love. 🙂
Lovin' it…especially the "bee happy" printable! It's so absolutely darling! Can't wait to see the finished room!
I did this with an Audubon book and made an incredible series of bird pictures! It was really fun selecting frames and mats! Love the wrapping paper one you put together.

Saw your home tour on AT, so fun! Also, when I saw the botanical prints I was going to suggest you check out the Cavallini wrapping paper! Funny! Love that bird print, I just ordered the butterflies and the desserts print a few days ago. Can't wait to see how your mom's room turns out.

Hi! I am new to your blog and I absolutely LOVE it!… This idea is genius!! Thanks for sharing! I also love the pattern underneath all of the pictures. Is that a rug? and if so, where did you get it?!
Thanks!
