One of my clients sent me this picture of a chandelier that she made herself!
It looks almost identical to the Marjorie Skouras chandeliers that she was coveting.
She found an amazing tutorial at Gus + Lula.
She purchased a hanging flower basket, extra chain, electrical cable, a double light socket, metal wire and a ceiling mount.
She purchased wooden beads here.
Make sure you check out the entire tutorial here.
And on another note the same client just opened up an etsy shop!
Check it out here.
Wow! I love it! Very inspirational, I recently just drew up some plans to make my own chandelier, and this helps me work out all the mechanics! Thank you for sharing.

That's amazing! It reminds me of the one at Ballard.
I have read stories about other people making these too and thought they were a blogging myth 🙂 but no! some people are just talented!!
Wow, I think I like her's best of all. Wish she would do a tutorial for it…her's looks like the real deal since it has the metal band around the widest part. How did she do that? I would love to know!
Amazing ! Does she have a Blog ?
Wow, so pretty! Looks like lots of time stringing beads while watching a dvd or two. If I had a spot for a chandelier, I would try this out in a heart-beat.
