You may remember the debate about what fabric we should recover our settee in. Well I went with the pink. And it’s awesome! It has taken a little getting used to because it is really….. pink. But I love it.
Erin did an amazing job sewing the cushion covers. You have to check out the before. They look so so so much better. I want to do a lumbar in a solid just to break up all the pattern a little bit.
Let’s not forget my zimba pillow! Erin also sewed this one for me. I did it in with a navy piping.
I’m getting there with the bedroom. Next step, paint the dresser and get curtains.
The settee looks pretty in pink! I agree adding a lumbar to break up the pattern, also to add more visual interest.

Beautiful job, Kirsten! These are some of my favorite colors.
It looks great! The floral pattern on the bed pillows ties all the colors in the room together and as a result there is balance but yes, solid lumbar would be nice. Thank you for sharing!

I just love all the bright colors! It's nice to see such a fun and colorful bedroom in contrast to all the peaceful neutrals we usually see. You've inspired me to use more color in my bedroom design!

I agree, for the most part, but don’t you feel as if the issue is more complex than that?
