Jett and my dad are best buddies.
I am back from my week long road trip with my family! I had a blast. We drove to the mid-west to pick up my brother from his mission.
We haven’t seen my brother for two years. He has never met Jett and we were all so excited to see him.
We picked him up from his mission in Iowa. While we were out there we stopped off at some great church history sites.
I really love my family and it was great to spend so much time with them. But I have to say I am very happy to be home. I can only live in a motor-home for so long.
Plus I came home to some beautiful fabrics on my doorstep.
I have a lot of things going on right now and it’s time to get back to work!
How exciting to see him again after 2 years! And Jett is so sweet!
You should give your brother some designer scriptures. Come see.
How cute is Jett with the blanky on the temple grounds?! I love Nauvoo so much. I also love zenyatta mondata–can't wait to see what you do with it!
Looks like a wonderful, joyous reunion!
Have a great weekend!
Reunion is such a wonderful thing especially after two years. And Jett is so adorable as usual. By the way, love your gorgeous fabrics!
Have a wonderful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend!

I love those reunion pics! My sister-in-law and her family live in Muscatine, Iowa, and we did the midwest drive 2 summers ago when my husband's parents were serving in the Nauvoo mission! Such a beautiful part of the country!
P.S. Sorry for all of those exclamation points! 🙂
Hello, new to your blog. Love your blog design!
Looks like fun family time! Loving the blog!!!
Looks like a great trip! The fabric looks beautiful too!
Always cherish your family time:). Love those fabrics, you have a great eye putting them together.
It was so fun to see you guys! Jacob looked great, I can tell he was a good missionary. Hey, I am loving the Pintrest! So fun!
Girl! Jett is so adorably cute at the steering wheel. Look at how happy he is to be up there with Grandpa!
Showed this post to my son and daughter in law from Ankeny, Regan and Shanna Bollwinkel. They instantly recognized your brother and said Hi. They are here visiting with us this week. Small world.
Kirsten, You just made my day!! I discovered your blog for the first time tonight and was happily reading through your post when I came to the picture of the "beautiful fabrics you found waiting at your doorstep". I designed that black and white fabric for Duralee. I am always thrilled when people like and use it. I would love to see a picture of how you have chosen to use it.
nice trip ......
