My son Jett has a little stuffed dog that he adores. He calls it his “pup-pup” and he can’t sleep without it.
When I came across Jennifer Maher’s work I knew I needed to commission her to paint this little guy. Jennifer does custom toy portraits and her work is incredible.
Here is the painting she sent me of “pup-pup”
Isn’t it precious!
Here they are side-by-side for comparison. I love that no matter what happens to “pup-pup” we’ll always have this painting to remember him. It will be a lifelong treasure of ours.
Contact Jennifer to have her create a custom painting of your child’s favorite toy. These would make the perfect gift for a birthday party or christmas!
That is so adorable and a great idea.
Brilliant. Beautiful too!
Oh Kirsten, it's awesome! Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
This is SUCH a great idea!!!
Fantastic idea! I love the way the painting is framed – which allows it to sit upright on the table as you've shown it! It's the perfect size too. Thank you for sharing!
What a fantastic idea! And the portrait looks beautiful and adorable, too!

OH my gosh! I love that. How stinkin cute. I might have to have Roman's puppy painted.
Such a wonderful idea that I would never have thought of doing in a million years (although I do take pictures of all the toys/books/animals we pass on to others). Cannot wait to capture Qak Qak the duck lovey in all her dirty glory.
Thanks!!
