Today I am featuring Ashli from the blog Maillardville Manor. Ashli describes her style as:
I would describe my design style as Functional, haha as boring as that sounds. There isn’t too much in our house that doesn’t have a function, maybe the odd doo dad but there’s not too much that’s just for show 🙂 and even the few items that are just for show, make us smile so it functions that way!
Maybe Simply Functional, But if it’s there for a function I try to make it as pretty as it can be

Enjoy!

Oh man! Love her home!! It's beautiful! There are so many details that I love!
I just posted our living room re-do and I hope you'll come over and check it out! It was a pretty drab BEFORE!

She has a beautiful home. A few of my loves from her home: the library (LOVE!), that clock in the living room, and the library!!!
What a gorgeous bedroom – I am dying over that paneling on the one white wall.
Great home! I love books (I have a ton!) and love to see how others incorporate books into their decor. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely beautiful! I love it! Thanks for sharing.
Another great feature! I found Ashli's blog a few months ago and have had a blast reading her archives. She motivates me to be more organized, to simplify, to garden, to keep up our budget, and so many more things. And she helps me remember that having a beautiful home is not about perfection or high priced stuff, but about choosing well and putting things together with care. I also have to add that she motivates me to CLEAN! Seriously, have you ever seen a cleaner house? Ok, so I know that pictures can hide a lot… but I've learned that I can overlook so many imperfect things around my house if it's spotless. 🙂
Love Ashli's blog! Great feature. She never ceases to amaze me with what she and Lee create! Beautiful home.
Her home is so beautiful! I really like the little reading area. It's a great spot to hang out with a book or a magazine.
I am off to check out her blog now. Thanks for another wonderful feature, Kirsten!

I spy my favorite IKEA bed! She also did a great job working in the beige microsuede sectional. Those can be so tacky (I can say that because we have one. I blame Todd.) but hers fits great!
PS happy birthday!!
Such a cozy home! It looks fabulous. She did such a great job. I really love that green table lamp 🙂
