on (which personally makes me giddy!). I kept it fresh and modern by
going with more coral tones, rather than traditional pink. The walls and
art are simple to balance out the patterns on the chair and rug. One of
my favorite tricks in a nursery is to use a buffet or dresser for a
changing table. Pop on a changing pad and you now have a glammed-up
changing table with twice the storage, not to mention it’s hidden behind
drawers and doors, than a traditional changing table. The over dyed
traditional rug, mirrored buffet, metallic accents, and simple color
scheme give this nursery the grown-up glam edge. The pink pattern play,
bird cage lamp, brass giraffes, and tassel garland add whimsy to your
munchkin’s little space.
black & white with splashes of gold. Because the colors are so
simple and very “grown-up glam,” I jazzed it up with the pattern play
and whimsical accents… tree wallpaper (how cute is that?), a polka-dot
rug, animal busts, jumping sheep art, brass giraffes (too cute to not
use again!), and poodle lamp. The glider, ottoman, and sheepskin rug
will make late nights more comfortable for mama although the gold gilt
dresser and campaign crib might make her a little jealous…
