There is something about a beautiful Fiddle Leaf Fig tree that transforms a room. They are seriously so beautiful. I’ve been on the hunt for awhile for the perfect one to add to a lonely corner of my Living Room. I’ve seen the ones at Ikea but I knew I would never keep it alive long enough to get big. And even if I got an already large one I knew I would kill it within the year. I’m realistic and my track record with plants is not good. So I’ve been looking for a good faux tree to fulfill all my fiddle leaf wishes. Here is a roundup of some of my favorites.
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
The price for the last option was so good I couldn’t pass it up. My new tree arrived last week and I LOVE it!!
It seriously adds so much to my space. I picked up a Nate Berkus basket to put it in last week. I’m making slow progress to my Living Room….
What do you think? Would you buy a faux fiddle leaf tree or is it real or nothing for you?!
If i got a fiddle leaf tree I would definitely go faux! I LOVE the look but I've heard they are really finicky, and I just am not much of a gardener at this point in my life. Love the one you chose!
I bought a real one and love it. I water it about once a week when the leaves get droopy and it stays in front of our back door so it gets sunlight. I have thought about a fake one though for a few other rooms in the house.
Thank you for the resources! Been looking for a faux one as well but didn't want to play too much. I may get one of the last two you listed. 🙂
Oh my gosh! I love these and have been wanting one for a little bit of time now! Your pillows are so cute!

Looks beautiful!!! (and I feel like I now have permission to get a fake tree 😉 Thank you! Can't wait to see m ore of your room. It looks lovely 🙂
It looks great! I bought a real one at IKEA last year and thought I would give it a try since they were so inexpensive. I'm not a green thumb, but miraculously it is still alive!
I love it!!! I've been wanting one of these for a while! I'm convinced now. Looks great!
$250 for a fake tree?! I bought my fiddle fig a year ago at home depot for $30 and it has been the easiest plant to keep alive, and I can't keep anything alive. I literally water it once a week. I say for those interested get a real one for $30, then if you kill it, just get another. Spending $250 for a fake tree seems really sort of crazy to me.
The selection in Utah has been sparse for real ones. I wish I could find one! I know what you mean but compared to the $600 fake version I felt like it was a good deal 😉
I don't get much of any sunlight in the room I want my tree, so faux is the only option! Thanks for the post!!
Ps is yours really 6' tall? Looks smaller in the picture…
good question. I haven't measured but it seems like it might be… I could definitely stretch the branches up a little to get it to be taller too.
i would say i always love the real deal, but they are impossible to find here, so i'm so happy you posted from great fauxs!
I have considered a faux one in the past too but the prices have always turned me away. Why do they have to be so expensive. Love yours.
I actually have a huge faux banana tree in our bedroom with cathedral ceilings and I still love it even with all the faux plant haters out there and the price was amazing 10 years ago.
Where do you suggest to buy a faux fig tree
There are a lot of sources online. Pier 1 has a good one right now.
Hi I know it’s been awhile but can you tell me the source for Fiddle Leaf option three?
I am sorry option three is discontinued now. We love this one from Pottery Barn Faux Potted Fiddle Leaf Tree
