Today I am featuring the bright and colorful home tour of Lindsey from the blog The Pleated Poppy.
Here is what she says she loves most about here home:
look:
my house is light and bright! I have kept the wall color and most of
the furniture fairly neutral so I can change things up on a whim or for
different seasons quickly and inexpensively.

feeling: My house is very casual. I like having lots of places to sit, room for large groups.
livability: My furniture is almost all thrifted, found or made by my dad & I. Because of this it all has little monetary value, so I don;t panic if
something gets knocked or dinged – it just adds to the character! Most
people freak out about my white couches, but they are the easiest part
of my house! They are slip-covered so I just pull them off and bleach
them in the washer if needed (you can’t bleach any other color!).

Thanks so much to Lindsey for sharing her amazing home tour with us! Make sure you check out her blog here!
I just love Lindsey's style! The colors are fresh and pretty. Her home is real – not overly styled and that's my favorite part.
Love the colors, so pretty and fun
So pretty! I love all the colors!
I'm also a fan of small kitchens. My favorite kitchen was in a studio apartment — it was in a sort of alcove and you literally needed not take more than two steps from sink to stove to fridge. Didn't hurt that it was full of charm with glass-front cabinets built in the 20s, wall mounted sink, etc. Do you know what I love most about Michael Penney's kitchen? If you look closely at the cabinets, you can see they had that 80s strip of wood across the top of each door/drawer. He painted it to match and then did some fabulous decorating around it. I think the wallpaper is my favorite.

Wow! This has got to be one of my favorite houses I've ever seen! All the details and special touches just make it! The only problem is I can't decide which room is my favorite, I'm in love with them all!! Thanks so much for sharing! ~Kathy@The Daily Nest
Love this house! Now I have officially decided to get that West Elm shower curtain! ; )

Love the house too! Can you tell me the paint color of the bathroom?
I’m so sorry Maria but this isn’t my home. You can try contacting the home owner directly to find the color.
Can you tell me the color of the blue paint for the bathroom listed just above “The Kids Room”? It is the picture with two towels hanging outside the shower door. Listed on the 2015 House of Jade Interiors. thank you!
