Jett's Christmas Room & a Giveaway from Land of Nod!

This year I started wondering why more people don’t decorate their kid’s rooms for Christmas. Christmas is, after all, mostly for kids. I decided it would be fun to decorate Jett’s a room a bit this year. Honestly I went a little crazy. It was just so much fun to find ways to make his room festive.
I was able to work with Land of Nod to find some cute products to deck his room out.

 

Are these gnomes not adorable! I can’t get enough of them.
I really love that Land of Nod has some bright garlands as opposed to the typical red and green. The green garland allowed me to pull some of the neon green from his headboard.
My friend Lisa made this adorable snow globe at our handmade gift exchange.

 

I always had my own Christmas Tree in my room growing up and I loved how the sparkly lights lit up when it was all dark in my room. Jett loves his tree.  I’m not sure how we’ll ever get it out of his room when Christmas is over. We might have to keep it up all year long!

 

I just love the idea of having seasonal bedding for the Holidays. The sheets and duvet are both flannel which make them super cozy to sleep in.

 

Jett is slightly obsessed with his Land of Nod candy cane. Isnt’ it too cute!

 

 

I also added a little Santa and Sleigh die-cut to his globes.

 

 

Alma and Melanie from Caravan Shoppe were nice enough to make some Olliblocks for Jett. He loves them. Mostly he likes to build towers with them and knock them down. Boys….

  1. What a sweet idea! I will definitely be putting a tree in my kiddos' room next year. There isn't a flat surface for one now, but next year we'll need to rearrange for baby 3!

  9. I love land of nod – i have a bedroom set all picked out for children (probably because I secretly want it for me) – the Jenny Lind Bed in Raspberry!!! It is so fabulous. Thinking about the Dear Deer Art to go along with it – it is so sweet and reminds me of all my grandmas scandanavian Christmas decorations from when I was little. 🙂 Thank You!!! – Pat

  106. This room is nice for a little boy and very imaginative. We just renovated the living areas in our home with new paint, new flooring and are on the way upstairs. The stairs were repaired and now we are working our way down the hall.

  163. Land of Nod is the bomb! They have the cutest stuff! Every time I walk in there I want something new. haha. His room is SO perfect for a little boy! Everything you do is so beautiful. The iciing on the cake was the santa silhouette on the globe though. Max would LOOOOVE that. It was adorable. You're such a cute mom.

  168. The Land of Nod has the cutest stuff all the time, and so unique. I ordered an adorable salad sat for my 2 year old Grand Daughter, because whenever she comes to visit, she always loves to help make salad. I will keep my fingers crossed for the gift certificate!!!!

  171. I love the idea of a tree in kids rooms. I had a tree in my room growing up and I loved it! Land of Nod has terrific kids items. We just moved and my son's room could use a little sprucing up!

  216. My two little boys share a room so they got a whole 7' tree all to themselves this year! It makes a great night light alternative and I can remember falling asleep to bubble lights on my own little tabletop tree as a little girl so it's nice to be able to continue that tradition. Last year my youngest was still in a crib/very grabby so we decorated a big wreath above the crib instead and his big brother decorated his own little tree with plastic cookie cutters and soft ornaments just to be safe.
