Today we are excited to share a couple children’s bedrooms with you as we round out Erin’s house tour. The first is her little girl’s room. The design is soft and feminine with a little accents of spunk thrown in. The wallpaper really is the main focus of the room and was the jumping off point. The colors and design of the wallpaper are perfect for a little girls room.
Erin thrifted this dresser and repurposed and painted it for the room. It just goes to show you can mix high and low items to create a beautiful and unique space.
Erin incorporated these plush swans to go with the wallpaper. It really helps pull together the room.
We love the many shades of pink she used on the bedding and drapes. It adds dimension and style and is far from boring in her daughter’s room.
In the boy’s bedroom Erin created a little more bold design, while maintaining and youthful and softer feel for the baby. The quilt on the bed was made by a family member and Erin wanted to use it in the room as it has sentimental meaning. She carried those colors throughout the room and created a fun space for her son to play and read in.
There is a perfect balance between soft and bold in the space. The wallpaper helps create that balance. It is just subtle enough where it isn’t the focus of the room but still adds pattern and interest.

Beautiful rooms.
I have to ask – and it’s not design related – where is that dress that is hanging in the little girls room from? So cute!
I love it all!
What is the brand and name of the wallpaper in the boys room?
Do the curtains in the girls room come in a blue or navy stripe and if so, where can I purchase them?
They were custom made. Here are some very similar ones: http://rstyle.me/n/bgiafhb2z4x
Are the white baskets for the kallax shelf from ikea? Or were they baskets painted white? Thanks!
Ikea 🙂
