Alpine Modern Remodel: Kitchen, Dining, and Mudroom

Last week we revealed the entry and living room spaces of the Alpine Remodel.  Today we are excited to share the new kitchen and dining room with you!

Before we go into too much detail we have to share the before pictures with you!

Morley Homes ripped up the whole kitchen so we could start with a fresh slate.  The layout of this space was super tricky to work with.  We took out all the upper cabinetry on the range wall and made room for two large windows that overlooked the backyard.  The best part is the large wood island that caters to all the grandkids!

Right of the kitchen is the home’s previous family room.

We took out the large window and added in doors that walk out onto the back deck. We warmed up the space by adding in wood beams and a floating wood mantel on the fireplace.

The star of this room is the custom made dining cushion that adds the perfect subtle pattern!

We were able to use our client’s curated accessories to create an eclectic feel through out the home. We loved using personal art from her travels including this custom made piece by her daughter-in-law.

The mudroom doubles as a small laundry room.  We wanted a classic feel in here so we stuck with black and white with a slate herringbone floor.
