The House of Jade story begins 8 years ago when Erin and Kirsten started working together as a team. Erin's background in sewing and textiles added to Kirsten's background and degree in Interior Design. The two quickly found that the strengths each of them brought to the table could not only create beautiful spaces but an amazing business as well. Since starting House of Jade Interiors the business has been featured in numerous online and in print publications including Utah Style & Design, HGTV Magazine, Sunset Magazine and more. House of Jade specialize in new construction and remodels. Creating homes from the ground up is where they see the greatest results. They take pride in being great listeners and they recognize the process of creating your dream home is all about the partnership between designer and client. At House of Jade Interiors they believe a home needs to be functional, beautiful and timeless.
Kirsten - Co-Owner & Principal Designer
Kirsten has always had a love for beautiful, interesting and artistic things. She graduated in 2010 with a degree in Interior Design. During school she started a blog highlighting her journey through school and was able to launch her blog into her first Interior Design Business. As a blogger, business owner and Interior Designer she has had the opportunity to write articles for online publications and speak at multiple design and blogging conferences. She has lived all over the country from the east coast to the west coast and her design aesthetic reflects that. Her dream home would be a California beach house with elements of East Coast traditional. Her heart is happiest in a space that has lots of white, pops of black, natural greenery and bits of color. She considers owning House of Jade with her best friend Erin and working as an Interior Designer to be the best job on earth.
Erin - Co-Owner & Principal Designer
To say Erin Morgan has an eye and passion for beautiful things would be an understatement! She was born to create amazing interiors. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2009, where she gained her drive and motivation for owning her own business. She brings her ability to think outside the box and attention to architectural details to House of Jade Interiors. She has a small obsession with brass details and farmhouse elements and she always knows how to make a space feel perfectly eclectic. She loves texture in all forms and is an expert at making neutral and classic spaces feel inviting, warm and well designed.
Jamie - Principle Designer & Project Manager
Originally from the Midwest, Jamie moved to Utah in 2009. Her degree was initially in Environmental Health but quickly realized that she wanted a more creative outlet. After moving out west Jamie took a leap and enrolled in a local design program and fell in love immediately and hasn't looked back since. She graduated from LDS Business College with a degree in Interior Design and has continued pursuing LEED certification hours. Jamie loves to combine traditional and modern elements to create fun, fresh spaces that still a have classic and timeless look. Working through layouts and diving into all the little details that each project brings are one of her favorite aspect of each design.
