E-Design Agreement & Terms of Service

E-Design has enabled us to help clients from all over the world! It is perfect for the client who is proactive and good at decision-making but just needs a little help putting a plan together. We want to make sure that this process is a good fit for each of our prospective clients. The following describes how our E-Design package works. 

How it Works 

STEP 1 // PAYMENT / PROJECT INFORMATION 

All e-design projects require a 50% deposit to get started. The remaining 50% will be completed once the project is completed. Once the deposit is paid you will be directed to a form to send us more details on your hopes and dreams for your space. Once you submit that information to us you’ll be able to schedule an initial design call with our e-design manager.

STEP 2 // INITIAL CALL:

On our initial call we’ll review all the details you submitted and finalize the scope of your project. We will discuss in detail what spaces you need help with, your wants, needs, budget, etc. We want to get as much information as possible so we can use our talents and abilities to tailor the design specifically to you. 

STEP 3 // CONCEPT IMAGES & SPACE PLANNING: 

To help is us create the look and feel you want for your space, we like to design with a few concept images in mind. We will work together to finalize two – three concepts to refer to. These images will solely be used as inspiration throughout the process. If elevations are provided, they are CONCEPTUAL only. It will be the responsibility of you and your contractor to fabricate the ultimate product with precision and accuracy. 

We will send you detailed instructions on how to measure your space. Once the measurements are received, we will draw up and space plan the room based off of the agreed upon list of items from the quote. You will receive a complete floor plan which will give you a bird’s eye view of what the space will look like and how it will function. 

The concept images & floor plan will be emailed in a packet for you to review and sign off. 

STEP 4 // DESIGN PROPOSAL: 

We now get to make the design come to life! By using all the information gathered, we make selections for each item from the floor plan and your list to create a design tailored to you. 

We will email the design proposal in a packet which will include the following: The concept images, floor plan, a design board with the design plan, and a write up explaining the design. You can expect to receive your design plan between 7 and 10 business days from the receipt of your deposit. If we feel as if your project will take longer than this time frame, due to the project scale – we will give you a specific time frame according to your project size. 

STEP 5 // REVISION: 

If applicable, we allow one revision. This revision is used to talk through any questions / concerns you may have or make a new selection on an item(s) you are not satisfied with. Any additional changes after the revision round will be billed at an hourly rate and will be due with your final payment. Your signature on the final proposal will indicate you agree to everything proposed. 

STEP 6 // IMPLEMENT: 

Now it’s your turn to make the design happen! We will provide you with the final design packet and a shopping list for all the items to purchase. Please note, items sourced can and do go out of stock frequently. We encourage you to be diligent about purchasing items as soon as possible as we can’t guarantee anything after a period of time. 

The remaining balance will be due within two weeks of receiving your design from House of Jade. 

Keep in Mind

This design service can be very successful but it is not for everyone. Our E-Design gives a general idea of how a room should be put together but does not go into detail on accessorizing, pillow placement etc. We have a very high success rate with our E-Design projects but money will not be refunded if you are dissatisfied with the design that is provided. 

Because this is an E-Design project you will be implementing and ordering all the products. Check dimensions, read reviews and do your own research so that you can make an informed decision. Order samples if you want to make sure a finish or fabric works in the space. We are not responsible if you do not like a product that you order. These selections are based on our best pictures via the Internet. We may not have seen the items in person and we cannot be sure of the quality of an item.
