Sometimes we feel like windows on the same wall as our bed ruin everything. However I think windows above night stands can look just as great as art or mirrors.
Here are some great examples.

Oh how I wish that were the issue with my window in my master bedroom.
I am sending you a link to my how the window in my bedrroom is creating many headaches for my bedroom makeover. Please help!

I was thinking at adding curtains to make it look like it is one big window behind the bed but if you look closely, you will see that the ceiling slopes right on top of the window. So I'm afraid it will look tacky, being that the ceiling is so low.
I would really appreciate any ideas. Thanks. 🙂
Great post….thanks for the tips! O, I love the last picture…so cozy! Do you mind me asking what source that image is from (I didn't see it listed)? Thanks!
Great photographs!! My eyes keeping going to the linens… Beautiful. I was looking at some similar white and brown duvets at pottery barn just last night that caught my eye. Love it!

You know I'm not sure. I found it on flickr and there was no source listed. Please let me know if you find out 🙂
why do you think they ruin everything? you should post some pictures of your space.
our new bedroom set up is much like the ones you have pictured (it will, hopefully, be revealed in a couple of weeks). we also have another window on the side of where the bed will be placed. the room gets southeastern exposure. i love it!
