The Riverside House – Living Room Reveal

Living Room | May 18, 2015

Since we covered the entryway last week I thought I’d share the Living Room today since it’s right off the entry.  The bones of the Riverside House are really amazing and this Living Room was no exception.  Tall ceilings, tons of light, spacious built-ins and beautiful trim were huge positives in this space.
Really all we needed to do was paint and infuse the clients transitional style into the space.
We decided to keep everything and just paint the trim and built-ins white.  We decided to bring in neutral elements with pops of blue and light coral/peach.  This is the design board we sent over:
We loved the print on this Ballard Chair.  But our clients weren’t in love with the shape.  Her sister-in-law had a chair she was getting rid of and we loved the shape so we decided to recover it in this tangerine fabric from Lacefield.
This is a pic from our instagram (@houseofjadeinteriors) when we picked it up from the upholsterer.
We also wanted to do two different sofas so we chose this one and this one.
