Lehi Remodel Reveal

Lehi Remodel | November 30, 2016

Today we are revealing a huge Kitchen and Living Room transformation we’ve been working on for the past few months.
This is what the home looked like when we came out.

Our clients wanted a rustic, fresh and modern feel.  We knew we wanted exposed white brick, metal, brass and wood elements.  We came up with an amazing design but it didn’t come easily.  We had to blow out a wall, change out the stair railing, insert a steel beam, put in new wood floors and add a fireplace! We also did an entire wall of built in cabinets with a fun hidden pantry. We just love how it turned out!

One of the biggest stars of this show is the hood on that beautiful brick wall.  It is such a statement.  We really wanted the brick to shine so we added simple wood open shelving and kept the accessorizing very neutral.

The island is extremely functional. We have a sink, dishwasher, drink fridge, pull out freezer drawer and ice maker all happening in this beautiful island.

To keep the wall of built ins feeling unified and seamless the pantry is hidden with a faux cabinet front door.

When we blew out the wall dividing the Kitchen and the Living Room it opened up the space so much. Now we get light streaming from both spaces brightening up the home substantially.

We added a brick fireplace in here with floating shelves to tie in those elements from the Kitchen. One of the challenges of this space was getting adequate seating to view the t.v. The space between the Kitchen and Living Room are tight and we didn’t want to eat too much into the walkway and flow space.  We decided to do a long sofa on one side of the t.v. and two blue swivel chairs on the other. The chairs are super comfortable and the swivel feature makes for great t.v. viewing!

The entryway got a new look with a painted door, new light and some fun art.
