Morgan Farmhouse Master Bedroom

For the farmhouse master we wanted to keep the theme of the home going with crisp white walls, wood floors with a little contrast in the accessories. The King size four poster bed fits well with the small vault in the ceiling where we added yet another rustic beam. We also wanted to bring in some texture and warmth on the window treatments by doing these woven shades made by select blinds. We used select blind’s product throughout most of the house, but in the master we used their wood woven shades in the colorway island camel. For the master we chose to have the top down bottom up feature, where you can lower the shades from the top or pull them up from the bottom. We wanted to have the option of privacy but still utilize the natural light from all of the windows in this room. We based the color scheme in this room around the art piece above the bed by Kathleen Peterson. We just love her unique talent and the colors in this piece fit perfectly for the room.

The stairwell railing we wanted to keep simple and modern but we love the contrast of the raw metal color. The entire railing is one solid metal piece, with a flat rail and round posts. Though simple, the stairwell is light and bright with a little touch of detail here and there.
