Creating a Feminine Pink and Gold Nursery

Kid's Room | August 20, 2014

If you follow Erin and I on instagram (@houseofjadeinteriors) then you saw that we installed a nursery yesterday for a client.  Hopefully we’ll photograph the space soon so you can see how it all came together! The client requested a pink and white room with hints of mint and gold. Erin and I are used to using bold colors so we really had to stretch ourselves to create such a soft space.  It was so much fun to create! Here are a few of the pictures that we used for inspiration.

We found lots and lots of great items for the room. Here are a few that didn’t make the final cut but that we really loved! If you are designing a nursery soon all of these pieces would work so well.
I love the texture that is happening on this pillow. It’s totally unique.
If you are adding a hint of mint why not do it with the rug? Plus this one looks super soft.
I’ve loved these bumpers for a  long time. That small pattern is so sweet.
I mean… every nursery needs an adorable plush creature right?
This nursery was french inspired so we really wanted to use some macaroon art.
We wanted a mirror for above the dresser and this was a great contender for a great price!
I just love how feminine these ruffle pillows are and all the great colors they come in!
I’m super obsessed with this canvas for behind a crib!
How cute would this be in a crib?
This mobile is so sweet for a new baby.
I can’t wait to show you the pieces we picked for this special nursery!
