Feature Friday: Julie Blanner

Our Work | February 6, 2015

Today I’m featuring the pretty home of Julie Blanner.  Here is a little intro to her house!
We updated a 60’s Colonial to create a sense of calm &
comfort using a neutral color palette, custom hardwood floors, a lot of
DIY projects to maximize space, function & budget!
We
removed carpeting in the laundry room, painted the concrete floor &
transformed an existing closet to create a mudroom full of functional
storage. Custom hand carved hardwood floors added character to the main
floor. We blended old with new, integrating existing elements when
possible, like the dining room chandelier. Light was added to the home
with a new door, paint, mirrors & updated light fixtures. The master
bedroom closet was converted from a standard step-in to a
walk-in-closet with closet kits & a statement chandelier. An awkward
sink in the basement was converted to a wet bar with the addition of
shelves & a little styling.
Enjoy!

Thanks so much to Julie for sharing her home with us! Make sure you check out her blog here
